Awright, I'll be first

What's up, Dobes?
Quick and dirty from my end:
I live in Seattle, have a tech writing gig for the Evil Empire (something my class of 90 Dobe self would never abide by, but hey, that's life, no?), play electric bass in a groovy jazz project and do improv music from time to time, and otherwise get into trouble when it presents itself.
You?

Hello, hello. Grad student in sociology at UC Santa Barbara, here.

I was just visited by my roommate from my first year at Oberlin (who I hadn't seen in over 5 years) so I'm suddenly in a nostalgic state of mind.

    Hey, all.

I'm current a law student at Vermont Law School in South Royalton, VT. One of my profs here is an obie alum too, and we tend to think that VLS is the Oberlin of law schools.

Aside from law school itself, I spend my time recovering from law school and trying not to let the stress kill me. I love Vermont, but I wish there were more Obies I could hang out with in the area--only being two years out of Oberlin makes me really miss the wonderful community we had there...

My longtime partner got her MLIS from Udub 2 years ago and loves being a librarian! I think you got in on a great field! Are you planning on staying out in the midwest or relocating? I know the jobs tend to pay better on the west coast, which is why I ask.

OK, I suck - I started this tribe thing and then utterly failed to post anything. So I'll be 12th or whatever.

I'm class of '92, majored in english, minored in a bunch of stuff, and lived all over the place. I live in San Francisco and do non-profit-y stuff. Lately, that's about all I've been doing to be honest, though right now I'm packing up for a few weeks of debauchery in Japan.
